Three adjustable bracelets

Special stitches and instructions for all 3 bracelets:

Double chain Ch 2 to begin. Sc in side of 2nd ch from hook for first double ch stitch. Sc in side of last sc worked for each additional ch. Work the chain with a fairly loose tension.

bead sc (worked on WS of work)-Insert hook in st, push a bead up to the work, yo and draw up a lp, complete sc around bead.

Btf bead sc (worked on RS of work)- Move working thread to the front, insert hook in st from front to back, yo draw up a lp through the st, push a bead up to the work, yo, and through 2 lps on hook, completing sc around the bead.

Threading the beads thread beading needle with sewing thread. Attach end of thread to Main Color cotton. Thread required number of beads onto needle and push over onto main color thread. Remove sewing thread.

Happiness Cuff

Create your own happiness with this pretty adjustable bracelet!

Size: Main part of cuff (rectangle) is 5 1/8” x 1 5/8”; knotted straps measure 3 ¼” each.

Gauge: With size 7 steel hook, 12 sc= 1”, 8 sc rows= 5/16”. Gauge is not important for this pattern, but fully opened bracelet must be large enough to fit over your hand.

Materials: Cebelia #20 Crochet Cotton in Main Color Pink (818) and Aqua (747), 139 size 11/0 seed beads Dyna-mites in translucent lilac, steel crochet hooks sizes 7 and 8, sewing needle to weave in ends, beading needle and sewing thread in any color to thread beads on the cotton yarn, scissors, medium sized safety pin.

Thread 139 or more beads onto needle and push over onto pink thread (see directions above).

With Size 7 hook and pink thread, make a double ch of 58 sts, then ch 1 (single ch) and turn.

Row 1-Sc in both lps of first double ch and in each double ch across. 58 sc

Row 2-3-Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.

Row 4 (RS)- Follow the diagram starting in the direction of the row number (i.e. righty reads right to left and lefty reads left to right), working a sc for each blank box on the grid and a btf bead sc for each “1” on the grid.

Row 5-Follow the diagram starting in the direction of the row number, working a sc for each blank box on the grid and a bead sc for each “1” on the grid.

Rows 6-19-Continue in this fashion

Rows 21-Repeat row 2

Row 22-Sc in each st across, end off; do not turn. Weave in all pink ends.

Border round with straps-With RS facing, and size 7 hook, join aqua yarn with sl st to 1st st on row 22, sc in same st, sc in next st and in each st across. Work a 2nd sc in last st. Ch 44, turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each ch down to first ch (keeping chain from twisting)-first strap made. Now work a sc on the side of every row, starting with row 21 and ending with row 2 (note-work should lay flat-if it buckles work down the side with the smaller hook). Now working with the size 7 hook, ch 44, turn, and sl st in each ch starting with the 2nd ch from the hook. Work across the bottom of the starting ch, going through every unworked lp of the chain. Work 2 sc in first st, sc in each st across up to last st, and 2 sc in last st. Ch 44 and make 3rd strap the same way as the other 2, (switch to smaller hook if needed and) sc up the side of each row, ending with sc in side of row 21. Work with size 7 hook, ch 44, and make the last strap, sc in same sp as first st of round, end off and work seamless join. Weave in ends of aqua thread.

Slider beads (make 2) with size 8 hook and aqua thread.

Rabbits in Love Bracelet

Size: Main part of bracelet is 3 3/8” x 1 3/8”

Gauge: With size 8 hook 12 sc= 1”, 2 rows= 1/8”

Materials: Cebelia size 20 crochet cotton in pink (818) and violet (210), 216 Delica size 11/0 seed beads in opaque white (DB200), steel crochet hooks sizes 8 and 9, sewing needle to weave in ends, beading needle and sewing thread in any color to thread beads on the cotton yarn, scissors, medium sized safety pin.

Thread 216 or more beads onto needle and push over onto pink thread (see directions above).

With Size 8 hook and pink thread, make a double ch of 39 sts, then ch 1 (single ch) and turn.

Row 1-Sc in both lps of first double ch and in each double ch across. 39 sc

Row 2-3-Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.

Row 4 (RS)- Ch 1 and turn. Follow the diagram starting in either direction (this design is symmetrical), working a sc for each blank box on the grid and a btf bead sc for each “x” on the grid. Repeat for all even rows through row 12

Row 5 (WS)-Chain 1 and turn. Follow the diagram, working a sc for each blank box on the grid and a bead sc for each “x” on the grid. Repeat for all odd rows through row 15.

Rows 16-18-Ch1 and turn, sc in each sc across. End off after row 18.

Border with straps-With RS facing and size 8 hook, join violet thread with sl st to 1st st on row 18, sc in same st as join, sc in next st and in each st across. Work 2nd sc in last st. Ch 46, turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch down to first ch (keeping the chain from twisting)-first strap made. Down work sc down the side, ending with the side of row 2 (note-work should be flat-if it buckles, work down each side with the smaller hook). Now working with size 8 hook, ch 46, turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch down to the first chain as before. Work across the bottom of the starting double ch, going through every unworked lp of the chain. Work 2 sc in first st, sc in each st across up to last st, and 2 sc in last st. Ch 46 and make 3rd strap the same way as the other 2, (switch to smaller hook if needed and) sc up the side of each row, ending with sc in side of row 17. Work with size 8 hook, ch 46, and make the last strap, sc in same sp as first st of round, end off and work seamless join.

Weave in all thread ends.

Slider beads (make 2) using size 9 hook and violet thread.

Believe Bracelet

Size: Main part of bracelet is 3 3/8” by 1 5/16”

Gauge: With size 8 hook, 12 sc = 1”, 2 rows= 1/8”

Materials: Cebelia size 20 crochet cotton in black (310) and white (001), 94 Delica size 11/0 seed beads in opaque rainbow robin’s egg blue (DB215), steel crochet hooks sizes 8 and 9, sewing needle to weave in ends, beading needle and sewing thread in any color to thread beads on the cotton yarn, scissors, medium sized safety pin.

Thread 94 or more beads onto needle and push over onto black thread (see directions above).

With Size 8 hook and black thread, make a double ch of 39 sts, then ch 1 (single ch) and turn.

Row 1-Sc in both lps of first double ch and in each double ch across. 39 sc

Row 2-3-Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.

Now working with size 8 hook, ch 44, turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch down to the first chain as before. Work across the bottom of the starting double ch, going through every unworked lp of the chain. Work 2 sc in first st, sc in each st across up to last st, and 2 sc in last st. Ch 44 and make 3rd strap the same way as the other 2, (switch to smaller hook if needed and) sc up the side of each row, ending with sc in side of row 15. Work with size 8 hook, ch 44, and make the last strap, sc in same sp as first st of round, end off and work seamless join.

Weave in all thread ends.

Slider Bead Instructions for all 3 bracelets

With stated yarn and hook, ch 6, leaving a 2” tail. Join with sl st to form a ring. Circle tail around to make another layer of the ring.

Round 1-Ch 1, work 6 sc into ring . Do not join. Remainder of tail should be coming out the bottom of the ring in the center. Pin round 1 with the safety pin as shown so the RS of sc does not turn to the inside.

Rounds 2-3-Sc in each st around.

Round 4-Sc in each st around, join to first sc of round, end off, remove safety pin. Use a needle to weave the end to the inside. Cut off both thread ends.

Assembly and finishing for all 3 bracelets

Use the smaller hook to pull the straps through each bead as shown (see Ravelry), then knot the ends.

Block if necessary. Pin bracelet to a blocking board and spray with water. Allow to dry.
