Bev's Incredibly Easy Baby/Toddler Mittens

Toddler mittens
Made with Simply Soft Yarn (about 1 oz)
Size H crochet hook

Ch 37
Row 1: Sc in first 4 chs, sl st into 2 chs, sc in next 11 chs, sl st into next 2 chs,  sc into next 11 chs,  sl st into 2 chs, sc in last 4 chs. Ch 1 and turn.
Rows 2 - 10
(Work in back loops only through out)  4 sc, 2 sl st, 11 sc, 2 sl st, 11 sc, 2 sl st, 4 sc.  Ch 1 and turn. 

On last row (you will have 5 ridges showing) do not ch 1 and turn, but cut a 2" long tail of yarn, and finish last stitch by pulling the yarn through the last stitch.  Now fold mitten in half and whip stitch shut.  Turn right side out.

You can brush the insides with a hair brush to make them softer.
