CROCHET PATTERNSCrochet Snowflake Santorini

Crochet Snowflake Santorini

This lacy snowflake is fast and easy to make. So, make a bunch of these cuties and decorate your home or give them as gifts to family and friends! Snowflake Santorini is one of the three snowflake patterns in Set No5.
For the big snowflake, I used cotton thread size 10 and a 1,75 mm crochet hook and its final size is 9 cm (3½ inches) in diameter. The small one is crocheted with size 20 cotton thread and a 1,25 mm crochet hook and it measures 6,5 cm (2½ inches) in diameter. Experiment with different yarn weights and hook sizes for larger or smaller motifs.
Besides the thread and hook, you will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors. In order to stiffen and block the snowflakes you will need white pva glue (school glue) or your favorite starch, stainless steel pins or toothpicks, plastic wrap and some kind of foam blocking board.
