Materials

• #3 DK Yarn
• 3.00 mm hook
• Row counter
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

• White-Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima Color 3728

Gauge 28 dc over 12 rows=4” square

Directions

Ch 105.

Row 1. Dc in the 5th chain from hook, *ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in the next ch. Repeat from * across. Ch 4, turn. (51 dc)

Row 2. Skip the first dc, *dc in the next ch space, ch 1, skip the next dc. Repeat from * across. Dc in the 4th turning ch. Ch 4, turn. (51 dc)

Row 3-10. Skip the first dc, *dc in the next ch space, ch 1, skip the next dc. Repeat from * across. Dc in the 4th turning ch. Ch 4, turn. (51 dc)

Row 11. Skip the first dc, (dc in the next ch space, ch 1, skip the next dc) 15 times, dc in the next ch space, ch 74, turn. (16 dc)

Row 12. Dc in the 5th ch from hook, (ch 1, skip 1 chain, dc in the next ch) 35 times, ch 1, *dc in the next ch space, ch 1, skip the next dc. Repeat from * across. Dc in the 4th turning ch. Ch 4, turn. (51 dc)

Row 13-21. Skip the first dc, *dc in the next ch space, ch 1, skip the next dc. Repeat from * across. Dc in the 4th turning ch. Ch 4, turn. (51 dc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. Fold the cover up over in half. Whipstitch the seam on the outer edges for 4” up from the bottom leaving the top open for the arm. Repeat on the other side. Turn right side out so the seam is on the inside.

Fasten off. Weave in ends. 

Fringe

Cut strands of yarn approximately 6” long. I have attached 4 strands on every other row and just 2 strands on the end rows. Take the 2 strands from one end and grab 2 of the 4 strands from 2 rows over and tie them together in an overhand knot. Repeat across. Trim fringe about 1.5” long.
