• #2 Sport Yarn
• 3.00 mm hook
• Row counter
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Gauge 24 sc over 24 rows=4” square

Directions

Hat

With blue, ch 3. Sl st to the first ch to create a ring. The hat is worked in continuous rounds. Place marker in the first st of each round. 

Row 1. Work 6 sc into the center of the ring. (6 sc)

Row 2. 2 sc in each st around. (12 sc)

Row 3. *sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (18 sc)

Row 4. *sc 2, inc. Repeat from * around. (24 sc)

Row 5. *sc 3, inc. Repeat from * around. (30 sc)

Row 6. *sc 4, inc. Repeat from * around. (36 sc)

Row 7. *sc 5, inc. Repeat from * around. (42 sc)

Row 8. *sc 6, inc. Repeat from * around. (48 sc)

Row 9. *sc 7, inc. Repeat from * around. (54 sc)

Row 10. *sc 8, inc. Repeat from * around. (60 sc)

Row 11. *sc 9, inc. Repeat from * around. (66 sc)

Row 12. *sc 10, inc. Repeat from * around. (72 sc)

Row 13-24. Sc in each st around. (72 sc)

Row 25-27. Sc 9, hdc 4, dc 10, hdc 4, sc 18, hdc 4, dc 10, hdc 4, sc 9. (72 sts)

Sl st to the next st. Fasten off. Weave in ends. 

Bow

The bow is worked in back and forth rows in the style of a ribbon and is tied onto the hat when completed. 

With blue, ch 151. 

Row 1. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn. (150 sc)

Row 2. Dec, sc to the last 2 sts, dec. Ch 1, turn. (148 sc)

Row 3. Dec, sc to the last 2 sts, dec. Ch 1, turn. (146 sc)

Row 4. Dec, sc to the last 2 sts, dec. Ch 1, turn. (144 sc)

Row 5. Dec, sc to the last 2 sts, dec. Ch 1, turn. (142 sc)

Row 6. Dec, sc to the last 2 sts, dec. (140 sc)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Finishing

Place the hat onto the doll’s head. Wrap the ribbon piece around the hat and tie into a bow securely to the side of the head. Place a few sts to secure the bow in place. Weave in ends.
