I wanted something festive for the Christmas season, but I didn’t want to make a hat, because sometimes I wear my hair up and that doesn’t work well with a hat. So, I came up with a design for an ear warmer that looks a lot like some santa hats, complete with a belt and fur. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed designing it!

Materials:
– ½ ball of worsted weight yarn in red. (I used Lionbrand Vanna’s Choice in Cranberry)
–
¼ ball of worsted weight yarn in black. (I used Lionbrand Vanna’s Choice in Black)
– small amount of worsted weight yarn in yellow/gold. (I used Lionbrand Vanna’s Choice in Mustard)
– small amount of bulky, fluffy weight yarn in white. (I used Bernat Pipsqueak in Whitey White)
– Size H (5.0mm) Crochet Hook
– Size K (6.5mm) Crochet Hook
– 1″ button

Size:
Small Adult/Teen – fits 21-23″ head circumference
Large Adult – fits 22-24″ head circumference (size changes will be indicated in parentheses and italics)
