The only thing that’s cuter than babies are baby shoes. And these crochet baby booties are the cutest possible baby shoes you can find.

The little one in your life deserves the absolute best, so why not give it to them? These crochet booties were made for walking. Sort of. They were made for walking and crawling.

You also know that everything about your baby is special – it’s all the more meaningful to crochet the shoes yourself. A plus side? These boots have a little bit of stretch in them. So even though your baby is constantly growing, these shoes will stick around for a while.

Pick two colors of cotton yarn, and start crocheting these baby boots that they’re going to want to keep around even when they finally grow out of them.

You’ll love this easy crochet pattern, that uses the primrose stitch and gives a unique look that no other baby out there’s going to be sporting. That adorable cuff? Come on.

Assembly:

With right sides together (wrong sides facing out), place instep against sole so that the 3 stitches on the last row of the instep are centered along one end of the sole. Instep should cover about half the length of the sole. Secure with stitch markers, and then seam together with a whipstitch. Fold cuff in half lengthwise, with right sides together. Sew side edge to make a tube. Still with wrong sides facing out, place cuff on top of remaining half of sole, lined up with the end of the instep. Sew into place along sole and instep.

Weave in all ends and turn right side out.

Repeat instructions for second bootie.

Love this pattern. There is a typo in Row 1 of the insole, fourth line. “says 3 s”. I am assuming you meant 3sc there.
