The Yarn
To make the Step Into Spring Set I used Lion Brand’s Comfy Cotton Blend. It’s a described as a trans seasonal blend since it’s 50% cotton and 50% polyester so it was a perfect choice for this pattern. It’s light but feels warm and compliments this pattern. This yarn provides just the right durability and softness.
The earthy and beach inspired shades had me at “Hello”! I chose the variegated color Driftwood because it reminded me of walks on the beach. I used 1 skein of Comfy Cotton Blend which makes these projects super economical.
THE PERFECT WRIST WARMER & COWL PROJECT
Have you ever wanted to try the corner to corner crochet method for something beyond making blankets?
Well I designed this for you so you can make wearable items using the corner to corner crochet method. Creating rectangles using the corner to corner crochet method is fast and fun. This pattern transforms them into a cowl and a set of wrist warmers.
I’ll walk you through step by step how to make the rectangles needed and how to assemble.
Since you like the Step into Spring Set, these might interest you too?
How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?
How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isn’t a helpful answer is it?
Well, I’ve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.
It will help you calculate exactly how much time you’ll spend crocheting a project.
All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.
Calculate how long it takes to crochet that.
