Materials: ( I used )
5.5 mm crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn: dark green ( about 300 gr for the sample – size M&L / 200 gr or 360 yds per skein )

Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into the same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/ round, so choose your best technique 🙂

R1: ch53, dc in 3rd ch from hook ( first 2 chs doesn’t count as 1st dc ),* ch4, skip 4 chains, dc into next chain * repeat ** 9 times across, ch4, skip 4 chains, dc into the last chain, turn.

R2: ( dc, ch1, dc ) into 1st stitch, * skip ch4- space, ( dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc ) into next stitch * repeat ** 9 times across, skip ch4-space, ( dc, ch1, dc ) into last stitch, turn.

R3: dc into 1st stitch, * ch4, skip next (ch1, dc, dc, ch1), dc into next stitch * repeat ** 9 times across, ch4, skip next (ch1, dc, dc, ch1), dc into last stitch, turn.

  • Now you have 3 finished pieces in total. Insert hook and join yarn at any corner of each piece, dc all around as border. Add one more dc at each corner ( fasten off ).

  • Seam shoulder lines with sc or sl.
  • Seam body lines with sc or sl ( from R11 to R26 ), leave side slits.

Weave in ends.
