Versatile Blanket Wrap Crochet Pattern

blanket scarf wrap crochet pattern

Who doesn’t love a crochet pattern that serves multiple purposes. Well that’s just what this Versatile Blanket Wrap Crochet Pattern is! It can be worn as a wrap, a poncho, a shawl, a scarf, or use as a blanket.

It is worked up using light weight yarn like Lion Brand Coboo. Coboo is super soft and is a cotton/bamboo blend. It will keep you warm without being too hot.

The Blanket Wrap is worked just like a rectangle blanket. It uses basic stitches and is very beginner friendly. Complete the look with fringe and buttons, the possibilities are endless.

Using remaining yarn cut strips approximately 10” long. Tie fringe around 1 long side and both of the short sides about every 10 sts.

I have been crocheting since I was a child. My huge love for crochet has opened this opportunity to teach others through this blog and online learning.

  1. Hi, I found this pattern on Ravelry and would love to try it out. I’ve been hunting for a cotton/viscose blend in an emerald/forest green, since Coboo has such a limited color range. Galileo by KnitPicks (which comes in the color I’m looking for) has a similar fiber content, but is sport weight, rather than DK. Do you think I could get away with using it? Thanks for the lovely pattern, by the way!

    1. I would work up a gauge swatch and see how it compares to the patterns
