Continue with diagram A.1 in the round on round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! When entire A.1 has been worked, crochet square measures approx. 13 x 13 cm = 5 1/8” x 5 1/8”. Work 35 squares in total, i.e. 9 pieces of SQUARE 1, 9 pieces of SQUARE 2, 9 pieces of SQUARE 3 and 8 pieces of SQUARE 4. ASSEMBLY: Place the squares with 5 squares in width and 7 squares in height - see A.2. First crochet squares tog across and then alongside. Place 2 squares together wrong side against wrong side and work together through both layers with light beige as follows: * 1 single crochet around chain space in the corner, 5 chain stitches, 1 single crochet around next chain space, 4 chain stitches, 1 single crochet around next chain space, 4 chain stitches, 1 single crochet around next chain space, 5 chain stitches and 1 single crochet around chain space in the corner, 1 chain stitch *, repeat from *-* until squares on 1 row have been worked together. Continue with 2nd and 3rd row etc. the same way. Then work the rows together alongside the same way. LACE EDGE AROUND THE ENTIRE BLANKET: Beg in a corner and work with light beige as follows: 1 single crochet in chain space in the corner, * 5 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in 5th chain stitch from hook, 1 single crochet in next chain space *, repeat from *-* around the entire blanket (make sure that 1 chain space is in each corner on blanket) and finish round with 1 slip stitch in first single crochet from beginning of round. |
