The Blossom Wrap is designed for those cool summer nights or overcast days. It pairs well with your favorite sundress or tank for that little bit of coverage during the late summer nights outdoors.

The design is worked in short rows from one end to the other and works up quickly with only a two row repeat! Using Caron Cotton Cakes gives a gorgeous drape with the cotton blend, and just enough warmth!

The Yarn

I went with Caron Cotton Cakes because it’s one of my favourite cotton blends! I love the way it feels, they way it glides along the hook, and the drape it gives to finished makes. My testers all opted for a variety of acrylic yarns and had beautiful results as well! Lion Brand Mandala was just gorgeous as well. The self stripping colour ways of the Cotton Cakes and Mandala also gives the design that gorgeous pop of colour!

A LIGHT WRAP WITH VERSATILITY

One of the greatest parts about this wrap that I adore is how versatile it is! It’s easy to adjust the size, width or length can be adjusted. You can wear it as a wrap, a scarf, a beach cover up, a shawl to an event – even a small blanket for picnics or the beach! You can change up the seasonality of it by changing the fibre content too!  The easy stitch combination sometimes called the Blossom Stitch work well to get gorgeous drape and looks beautiful with a variety of fibers.

How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?

How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isn’t a helpful answer is it?

Well, I’ve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.

It will help you calculate exactly how much time you’ll spend crocheting a project.

All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.

Calculate how long it takes to crochet that.
