*As always you have my permission to sell the finished creations that you make from this pattern. If selling online please include a link back to my blog or Etsy page.

*This is my original design and this pattern is not to be copied and reproduced for monetary purposes, I'd love if you made as many as you liked for yourself or to give as gifts, or even sell for profit (giving credit to me as designer), but please do not make copies of the pattern. Thanks!

Note: Try weaving in the ends as you go by crocheting them into the next row. It will look nice and neat and save lots of time weaving in all of those ends from the stripes later. After finishing the bag, steam blocking it works best in order to have a neat look.

*How to make a "spike" in the row: The elongated stitch, or "spike" in the row is created by working a single crochet as you normally would, but when working the stitch, insert the hook two rows down as shown in the picture. Work the stitch as usual and proceed to the next stitch.

*How to make an invisible join: Cut off the yarn and pull the loop on the hook all the way till the end comes through. Skip the round’s first/start stitch.  Insert hook through both loops of the 2nd/next stitch.  Catch yarn and pull through. Hook through the FL (front loop) of your end/last stitch.  Catch the yarn and pull through.  You have now formed an Invisible Join.

Abbreviations:

ch: chain

st: stitch

At the end of round 7, do not sl st to join and chain 25, sl st to the last st of round 6 and to the last st of round 7 then sl st to invisible join (see explanation above for instructions on invisible join).

Sew the zipper. Because of the textured quality of the project, it does not need to be lined, as it looks the same inside as it does out.

Lilly Winter Puppy Sweater

When you are crocheting for your pet, you need to consider especially his/her comfort in first place. So think of this sweater pattern as a stitch pattern, this is only an example of how it fits and looks on my dog. It is made by using front post double crochet and back post double crochet techniques. Therefore I can say it is a very easy pattern and just adjust your measurements according to your pet's sizes.
