1-2-3 Facial Rounds

Even if you’re a master yarn bender, once in awhile it’s nice to have a quick and simple little project.

With 3 rounds and taking less than 10 minutes in total, these little facial rounds are one of those such projects. This is also a great etude that yields a functional finished item if you are new to working in the round.

I have made over 100 of these things over the last month because they’ve been one of my fastest and best selling items due to their usefulness.

1-2-3 Facial Rounds

Finished size is 2.5 inches in diameter.

The yarn I’m using for these is Peaches & Creme cotton. Being made out of 100% cotton means that these rounds are biodegradable and can be tossed in the compost bin when they are worn out.

Repeat to make as many rounds as you want! I usually do about five to seven per set.

Care instructions:

To wash, put them in a mesh delicate laundry bag and machine wash in cold water with detergent and color safe bleach to remove stains. Lay flat to dry.

Paired with coconut oil, these make a great waste free and non-toxic alternative to the chemical laden makeup removal wipes. Coconut oil is a very effective makeup remover and is almost as good as Mulan’s sleeve. The specific coconut oil I use is the Kirkland Signature Virgin Coconut Oil. It does come in a large tub, so I portion it into a smaller 4 oz mason jar to keep in my bathroom. It’s also a fantastic moisturizer.

Stay tuned, because later this week I have a holiday variation on these to share with you!
