Mini Star Ornament How to Crochet a Easy Tiny Star

Decorating Christmas tree is probably one of the most exciting things to do with your family during the holiday season. Using handmade crochet ornaments makes it even more special.

Here is a Quick and Simple Mini Star Ornament pattern which you can use to decorate your Christmas tree. They only take a couple minutes to make. These simple Christmas crochet stars are definitely fun  to make and a very easy holiday project! 

Use them as ornaments on your tree or as decorations and appliques for any time of year. You can also string them together to make a Crochet Garland or Wall Hanging, sew it on you crochet projects as an applique or simply use them as Hanging Stars. There are just so many options!

They will also make a cute addition to your gift wrappings and these small stars are wonderful scrap yarn busters.



Materials Used:-

  • 4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn 
  • 4 mm Crochet Hook 
  • Decorative Beads or Embellishments
Size:-
1 Inch

Lets Start....!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 1(Not counted as a stitch)
1 Single Crochet,
1 Double Crochet
Chain 2
1 Double Crochet
1 Single Crochet.
This makes 1 Star Point.
Repeat(1SC, 1DC, Ch2 , 1DC, 1SC) untill you have total 5 Star points.
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.






Hanging Loop:-
Chain 10.
1 Single Crochet in the same stitch and weave off.

Make many more in different colors and use any decorative bead or embellishments to decorate them.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-
