[Crochet] How To Crochet a Doily with Hearts.

In this tutorial I want to show how to crochet a doily with hearts or coaster to the coffee cup.

- Size 1,25 mm Crochet Hook.
- Scissors.

- Yarn Anna 16, Seam (530 m/100 g). 
- Crochet Hook (size 1,25 mm). 

Use a smaller hook for a smaller doily.

Basic Stitch Abbreviations:

Chain - ch.
Slip stitch - sl st.
Single crochet - sc.
Double crochet - dc.
Chain space - ch sp.

Double crochet two stitches together - dc2tog.
Double crochet three stitches together - dc3tog.

Double crochet four stitches together - dc4tog.

Pattern instructions:


1 step. Take light pink yarn. Make ch 8, join with sl st in first ch to form ring.

2 step. Make 3 ch, 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 sl st in the top of dc, (1 dc*3, ch 3, 1 sl st in the top of dc)*7, 1 dc, 1 sl st in 3rd ch. Finish.

3 step. Change color of yarn (pink). Insert hook in central top of dc, make ch 3, 1 dc in same top of dc, ch 4, (in next central top of dc make 2 dc, ch 4)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch. 

4 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc in same 3rd ch, 2 dc in next loop, ch 3, (2 dc in the first top of dc, 2 dc in next loop, ch 3)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

5 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc in same 3rd ch, make 2 dc in each of next 3 loops, ch 2, (2 dc in each of next 4 tops of dc, ch 2)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

6 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc in same 3rd ch, in each of next 6 loops make 1 dc, in last top of dc make 2 dc, ch 2, (2 dc in the first top of dc, in each of next 6 tops of dc make 1 dc, in last top of dc make 2 dc, ch 2)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

7 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc in same 3rd ch, in next 4 tops of dc make 1 dc, ch 2, in next 4 tops of dc make 1 dc, in last top of dc make 2 dc, (2dc in the first top of dc, in next 4 tops of dc make 1 dc, ch 2, in next 4 tops of dc make 1 dc, in last top of dc make 2 dc)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

8 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc in next top of dc, in next 2 tops of dc make 1 dc, in last two tops dc make dc2tog, ch 5, (in first two tops of dc make 1 dc2tog, in next two tops of dc make 1 dc, in last two tops of dc make 1 dc2tog, ch 5)*15, 1 sl st in the top of dc not in 3rd ch.

8 step. Make ch 3, 1 dc3tog in next 3 loops, ch 5, 1 sc in 5 ch sp, ch 5, in next 4 loops make 1 dc4tog, ch 5, 1 sc in 5 ch sp, ch 5, (in next 4 loops make 1 dc4tog, ch 5, 1 sc in 5 ch sp, ch 5, in next 4 loops make 1 dc4tog, ch 5, 1 sc in 5 ch sp)*7, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.
