I am very thankful to all my weavers ,appreciating me in my previous post. i am really very happy to see them. so, discussing about my new project (the Toddler hat and sweater). I want to tell you it’s my fast and easy idea for beginners crocheted who want to learn and make the baby hat and more, I have a lot of fun to crochet the baby items , it is very easy to making and you can change the size in others as you want to make large or small. I am working beautiful hat and sweater to the same pattern, I think all of you my friends you will be like the items, i wish you also try to make it.
Item to be need:
80 Grams Ball Double knit Weight / Medium Weight #4 yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)
Crochet hook: 4mm or US(G-6 Hook)
Gauge: 4 Double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch
Buttons
Special stitch: Double crochet
Size: Baby Toddler size 12-24 moths
Gauge : 4 stitches x 2 Rows= 1 inch

Start the Baby Aviator Hat Pattern:
Round1. Ch3 we count first dc, make 11 dc into circle,
sl st to join into 3rd ch.(12)
Round2. Ch3 we count first dc, 1dc into same st, 2 dc in each st around, s l st to join
into 3rd ch.(24)
Round3.Ch3 we count first dc,* 2 dc into next st, 1dc into next st*, repeat from * to *
around, do sl st to join into 3dc ch.(36)
Round4. Ch3 we count first dc, 1dc into next st, *2 dc into next st, 1 dc in each next
2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 3rd ch.(48)
Round5. Ch3 we count first dc, 1dc in each next 2 sts *2 dc into next st, 1 dc in each
next 3 sts*, Repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 3rd ch.(60)
Round6. Ch3 we count first dc, make 1 dc in each st around, sl st to join into
3rd ch.(60)
Round7-14. Repeat and follow the same work as Round6.
Measurement of hat 14 Rounds length =18 cm
Measurement of hat 60 dc stitches =16 inches/40 cm
Make 1st
Ear Flap:
Round1. Ch1 not count, make 1 single crochet into same st, 1
sc in each next 9 sts, turn.(10)
Round2. Skip 1st st, 1 sc in each next 9 sts,
turn.(9)
Round3-7. Repeat and follow the same work as Round 2 of the
ear flap. Finish off
Make Forehead Flap:
Change shite color.
Round1. Skip next st from the 1st ear flap last
st, join yarn next st, ch1 we don’t count,
make 1 single crochet into same st, 1 sc in each next 17
sts, turn work.(18)
Round2. Ch1 we count 1st sc, make 1 sc in each
next 17 sts, turn work.(18)
Round3-10. Repeat and follow the same work as we done 2 of
forehead flap.
Fasten off
Measurement of the forehead flap. 6 and ½ cm X 12 cm.
Make 2nd
Ear Flap:
Round1. Skip next st from the forehead flap last st, join
yarn into next st, make ch1 we don’t
Count , 1 sc into same st, 1 sc in each next 9 sts, turn
work.(10)
Round2. Skip 1st st, make 1 sc in each next 9
sts, turn work.
Round3-10. Do and follow the same work as round2. Fasten off
Make edging of
hat.
Make 1 sc around the hat edging, follow for both earflap and
forehead flap. Fasten off
Finishing. Sew buttons
on the forehead flap both corner to attach the flap to the hat.
