This crochet scarf is super easy to stitch up. I’ve been having fun trying out some different combinations of stitches and techniques and came up with this scarf pattern. It uses a combination of the half double crochet and double crochet that is worked across the front of the half double crochet. Each end of the scarf has one row of single crochet stitches. Once you get the hang of the stitch it’s a great project option for watching the latest crime docuseries that Netflix has pushed out.

I used Rozetti Merino Mist Yarn, which is currently on clearance from Premier Yarns’ site, so I’m not sure how long that will be available through them.

Notes:

  • This crochet pattern is written in US terms.
  • The initial chain needs to be an odd number
  • Finished size is 72 inches long x 7 inches wide
  • You don’t have to do the exact number of rows, you can stop when you reach the length that you want, but 500 yards of a light weight (dk) yarn should get you to 72 inches if you want to go that long.

Gauge:

14 stitches x 10 rows of half double crochet = 4” x 4”
