Free pattern: Easy Peasy Buttoned I-Cord Bracelet

Free crochet pattern: Easy Peasy Buttoned I-Cord Bracelet in Red Heart Super Saver yarn by Underground Crafter | Practice your crochet I-Cord technique while using up yarn scraps and stash buttons to make an easy bracelet. Links to my crochet I-Cord photo tutorial!

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you probably know that I have a sizeable button collection. I can’t seem to stop acquiring more, either, so I was looking for a project that was fast to make and could help me cut through my button stash.

At the same time, I was working on a crochet I-Cord tutorial for the Red Heart blog. And, that’s when it hit me: an I-Cord bracelet. (By the way, it’s pretty easy to transform this project into a necklace.)

I hope you enjoy this quick little project. Not only is it a great button stash buster, it’s also a great project for using stray buttons. This could be a fun project for crocheting with teens. Oh, and these make great stocking stuffers, too. While I used medium weight yarn, you could easily make a thicker or thinner bracelet with another type of yarn. Just be sure to use a crochet hook that is 1-2 sizes smaller than what is recommended for the yarn you choose.
