Who doesn't love crocodile stitch? This is an interesting application of the technique to make a kind of earflap hat. The hat is crocheted from the center out. After the top of the hat is completed using FPdc in rounds, the bottom of the hat is crocheted in rows with crocodile stitch. The crocodile stitch forms the "earflaps". Tassels at the ends of the earflaps and a pom-pom on the top of the hat add the finishing touches.
